Memories..

went Changi Village to have dinner just a while ago..
Hb had his usual serving of the best ayam penyet in spore while i had ipoh horfun, my ex-fav now.. no longer tastes as good as before.. oh well...

just as we were eating, a family of 3 sat at the table across us. The family consisted of a couple in their late 50s? with their son in his late teens i would reckon. nothing unusual? the lady's sight was impaired, and was assisted to the table by her family.the father went to get dinner while they sat and waited. when he was back,he started to strip the chicken into pieces so that his wife could pick it up easily.. he continued the same simple yet earnest process till she had her fill, then he started on his own dinner.

thats true love right there for u. true love is not abt buying expensive gifts , or eating at lavish restaurants.. is all abt being there for u in times of good and bad, in sickness or in health..
how many able bodied couples are as happy and contented as this couple?

anyhow,decided to pop by reg's place to pay a visit to her parents.. havent been able to do that as often as i wished.. it felt good.. felt like old times.. just sitting ard.. chatting with her family..bickering with reg as usual.. now hb becomes an accomplice!!! tsk. maybe the weight that i am piling on makes me a bigger target?? oh well , better me than others? =)

Plunging..

tales of 2 fortunes. 1 climax followed by a total plunge.
made some $$ on Advance Systems which i foolishly sold off at 0.135 when it went further , testing new highs at 0.16. i tot the cash registers were ringing when i saw most of the stocks in my portfolio were green...alas.. all was shortlived.

when news reports of hang seng plunging, shivers went down the spines of fundermentally weak stocks, and the rest of the stocks followed suit.

my heart plunged. how i wish it my weight would plunge as fast as the index.

well, guess i will bite the bullet and hope for the best. hope the market will recover from this knee jerk reaction in the next 2 days.

made some contra losses on bad hasty buys on Stamford Land, and RH energy. Both of which were bought on no strong basis at all. Tsk Tsk. when do i ever learn.

anyway, been back at the stock market.. with bulls running ard, what better time to be back at the game? =)

made some $ covering tiny bitsy portion of my UNSURMOUNTABLE losses previously :'( hopefully this uptrend carries on.. me and hb now prowl thru share websites/forums and sharing information with "gurus" from all walks of life, ( aka Aunty Guru and Guru KY) =)

Let me post here some potential stocks right now, and review it in 1 weeks time :P
